One of Italy’s most beloved cheeses, often referred to as the “mother of cheeses.” This lightly aged, semi-hard cheese is crafted with fresh red peppercorns, adding a delicate aromatic lift to its naturally rich, milky character.


Caciotta is italian for "small cheese". Using pasteurized cow milk from the quality farm, our caciotta is handmade by artisanal 
"casara" (cheesemaker) the traditional way, with only rennet, cultures (lactic bacteria) and salt added. For the "pepe rosso" 
version, we add pink pepper corns in the cheesemaking to give it the aroma and spicy flavour. Aged for 2-3 weeks. 
Ideal for table cheese and good pairing with fruity wine with medium body.

The delicate flavor of fresh cheese naturally evolves over time. For the best taste and texture, we recommend enjoying it as soon as possible.

Made without preservatives, the cheese should be refrigerated if not consumed immediately.

A subtle tang on the finish is a natural result of lactic acid fermentation and is a characteristic of fresh cheese. Please enjoy with confidence.
